The Lumo Cube puts the time, the room temperature and the alarm on one LED face inside a 2 inch cube, so a nightstand keeps its surface free instead of giving up space to a wide clock radio. The digits stay readable across a dark room without lighting the whole space.

Snooze, alarm and temperature share a single control face, which means setting an alarm takes one pass rather than a menu. The faux wood grain shell hides the display when it is off, so the clock reads as a small wooden block on the shelf during the day.

Power runs either from USB or from three AAA batteries, so the cube works on a desk near an outlet or on a shelf with no cable in sight. At this size it also travels well, holding its settings between a bedside table and a hotel room.
